OLONGAPO CITY – Over 9,000 residents have received their first dose of Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccine, Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said.
Paulino said the registration is ongoing and the actual vaccination rollout for the senior citizens would still continue as long as the city receives vaccine supplies from the national government.
“We have a limited supply of vaccines coming from our national government but we are distributing what we have as soon as possible. In two weeks, we could administer 6,000 doses,” Paulino said.
SM City Olongapo Central serves as the vaccination site.
