P900,000 marijuana seized in Bulacan drug sting

BALIWAG, Bulacan – Authorities seized an estimated P930,000 worth of marijuana in a buy-bust operation Friday night along the Pulilan-Baliwag Bypass road in Barangay Pinagbarilan, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency .
Shota Ando and Carmela Ricafort, both Pasig City residents, were arrested and yielded six kilos of dried marijuana leaves, 30 vape cartridges containing suspected marijuana oil.
They were arrested by PDEA agents, the Baliwag police and the Bulacan provincial intelligence unit, said Christian Frivaldo, PDEA Central Luzon director.
Appropriate criminal complaints will be filed against the two suspects.
