PNP logs 148 new COVID-19 cases

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday reported that it recorded 148 new COVID-19 cases.

This brings the total number of  infections to 22,316, with 1,376 currently active cases.

 The PNP Health Service has also recorded 134 new recoveries, bringing total number of recoveries to 20,878.

The Department of Health said that as of Wednesday afternoon, the country has logged 1,159,071 COVID-19 cases, including 49,951 active cases and 19,507 deaths.
