Another 500K doses of CoronaVac arriving on May 20
MANILA, Philippines — Some 500,000 more doses of Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccine, CoronaVac, will be delivered in the Philippines on Thursday, May 20, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said.
“Darating siya, May 20,” Galvez said Tuesday in an online Palace briefing when asked on the arrival of the additional doses of CoronaVac.
(It will arrive on May 20.)
Earlier this month, 1.5 million doses of CoronaVac procured by the government already arrived in the country.
Some 3.5 million doses were also delivered in several tranches in March and April.

Over two months since the vaccination drive began, the government has so far administered three million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
Individuals considered essential frontliners and part of the indigent population may be vaccinated starting the last week of May.
