Active COVID-19 cases in Olongapo down to 158 with 28 recoveries

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– At least 28 patients have healed from COVID-19 in Olongapo City on Monday, reducing the number of active cases from 184 to 158.

Olongapo Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said in an advisory that 1,471 people infected with COVID-19 in the city since last year have recovered.

Paulino said the city logged two COVID-19 patients on Monday: a 45-year-old bank employee and a 55-year-old resident of Barangay New Cabalan.

Olongapo had registered 1,704 COVID-19 infections and 75 deaths since the pandemic began in 2020.
