MANILA, Philippine—The Philippine Coast Guard has already delivered relief goods and additional search and rescue team to earthquake-hit areas in Negros Oriental, especially Guihulngan City, an official said Friday.

PCG Commandant Vice Admiral Edmunt Tan said BRP Pampanga or the search and rescue vessel 003 arrived in Guihulngan City Thursday night.

Tan said they have managed to deliver additional relief goods and deployed members of the Philippine Red Cross to assist in the rescue operations.

The PCG have deployed two search-and-rescue vessels to the province to help in the relief, search and rescue operations. BRP Pampanga and BRP Davao Del Norte are taking alternating trips delivering goods to the province.
