Comelec to resume voter registration for NCR Plus

Voter registration in areas within the National Capital Region (NCR) Plus bubble will resume on May 17, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said. The poll body said local Comelec offices in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal will accept registrations again on Monday after these areas were placed under general community quarantine. New voters can register in local Comelec offices or in satellite registration sites. “The public is reminded to inquire directly with their local Comelec office about the schedule of satellite registration specific to their area, as schedules may vary per locality,” said James Jimenez, spokesperson for Comelec. —Patricia Denise M.
