MANILA, Philippines — Fire hit a residential area in Manila’s Sta. Cruz district Friday and the second alarm has been raised, an official said.
Fire Officer 1 Arnel Manito of the National Capital Region Bureau of Fire Protection said that reports from their officers at the scene indicated that the fire started aat about 8:30. a.m. along Tambunting Street at the back of the Chinese cemetery.
No other details are available, Manito said but added that their firefighters were in the area.
