4 drug suspects fall in Lucena busts

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested four suspected drug pushers in two separate buy-bust operations in this city on Friday.

Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, identified the suspects in a report as Jaylennon Alcantara, Marlon Balolong, Arwin Sioco, and Jennifer Dapol.

Anti-narcotics agents nabbed Sioco and his partner, Dapol, after the duo sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay Mayao Crossing at 9:40 a. m.

The suspects yielded five sachets of meth worth P12,648 in the street market.

Earlier, a police team collared Alcantara and Balolong in another sting operation in the neighboring village of Mayao Parada around 7:30 a. m.

Authorities confiscated seven packs of shabu with a street value of P16,728.

The detained suspects are facing criminal charges for selling illegal drugs. INQ
