LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested a drug suspect and seized P102,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Gumaca town in Quezon province on Tuesday.
A Quezon police report said Salima Basman, 38, a resident of Barangay Maunlad, was collared after she sold shabu to an undercover police around 4 p.m.
Authorities seized 11 sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P34,000 and P102,000 in the street market.
Reformed drug users tipped off the police about the illegal activity.
Basman was detained and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
