P300-M frozen meat smuggled from China seized

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has confiscated over P300 million worth of smuggled items and frozen meat from China from storage facilities in the cities of Pasay and Navotas. Customs agents from the Manila International Container Port and the Port of Manila seized the smuggled items in a raid on May 7. One team, which raided a warehouse located in Navotas City found some P16 million worth of frozen meat, including Peking duck and black duck. Another team swooped down on a storage facility in Pasay City and found various branded clothing, such as Nike, Lacoste, Jag, Louis Vitton, Jordan, Crocs, Adidas, Havianas, Disney, Frozen, Hello Kitty, Tribal, Dickies, Mossimo, Levi’s, Petrol, Gap, Fila, Uniqlo, Lee, Puma, DC, and Marvel.
