Drug suspect yields P680K ‘shabu’ in Laguna
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a big-time drug trafficker and seized P680,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Biñan City in Laguna province on Saturday afternoon, police said in a report Sunday.
The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police office in a report said suspect Sherwin Hicana was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Sto. Domingo around 4:30 p.m.
Authorities confiscated one plastic bag containing shabu weighing 100 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P680,000.

The suspect was undergoing investigation on the source of the illegal drugs.
He will be facing a charge for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
