2 Quezon drug suspects busted

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested two drug suspects and seized 14 plastic sachets of shabu (crystal meth) worth an estimated P56,000 in Tayabas City, Quezon Friday night.

The Quezon police on Saturday reported that anti-narcotic agents collared Cesar Garganta, 30, after he sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay  Ilayang Nangka around 11:40 p.m.

Authorities seized eight sachets of shabu worth an estimated P30,396 and a motorcycle from Garganta.

Earlier, police operatives also busted John Arlo Reyes, 25, in another buy-bust operation in Barangay Opias around 6 p.m.

The suspect yielded seven sachets of meth with an estimated street value of P25,908.

The suspects were detained at the city police station jail and will face a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
