MANILA, Philippines—A Philippine National Police official said the firearm license of the Porsche-driving clerk of the Bureau of Customs who shot a 20-year-old student following a traffic altercation in the South Luzon Expressway last month, has been revoked.

Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said that the gun license for Customs clerk Paulino Elevado’s .40- caliber pistol has been revoked on February 1, 2012.

Custom Commissioner Ruffy Biazon has ordered a lifestyle check on Elevado who was caught in a security camera driving the posh sports car as it chased a Toyota Innova driven by the student along SLEX. He reportedly beat up and fired several shots at the Innova.
