MANILA, Philippines — The whole country will continue to experience warm and humid weather due to the Pacific easterlies, but isolated rain showers might still form in some areas due to localized thunderstorms.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also said that as of Sunday, May 2, no low-pressure systems or storms are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility for the next two to three days.
For Monday, warm and humid weather will be experienced in Luzon, though isolated rain showers should still be expected in some areas.
Temperatures in Tuguegarao and Metro Manila range from 24 to 35 degrees Celsius, Laoag with 24 to 32 degrees, Baguio with 17 to 26 degrees, Tagaytay with 22 to 32 degrees, Legazpi and Puerto Princesa 26 to 32 degrees, and Kalayaan Islands with 26 to 33 degrees.
However, Pagasa warned that the actual temperature might end up being higher due to the warm air and high moisture content.
Visayas and Mindanao will also experience the same heat and humidity, including isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms caused by the Pacific easterlies.
Iloilo, Tacloban, and Davao would experience temperatures ranging from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius, while Cebu would experience temperatures ranging from 25 to 32 degrees, Zamboanga and Cagayan de Oro with 24 to 34 degrees.
No gale warning was raised but Pagasa warns that the whole eastern coast of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have moderate conditions.
The rest of the country’s territorial and inland seas, on the other hand, would have slight to moderate conditions.
