MANILA, Philippines — Most of the country will continue to experience warm and humid weather as easterlies from the Pacific prevails, the state weather bureau said Saturday.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with low chances of rain in the morning until afternoon.

However, weather specialist Loriedin de la Cruz said isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon until evening are still possible, warning of possible flash floods or landslides in case of severe thunderstorms.

As of now, no low pressure areas are being monitored that will cause heavy rains in the next two to three days.

In Luzon, Tugegarao and Metro Manila will experience temperatures ranging from 24 to 35 degrees celsius, Laoag and Legazpi with 23 to 32 degrees, and Puerto Princesa and Kalayaan Islands ranging 25 to 33 degrees.

While in Visayas and Mindanao, Cebu, Tacloban and Davao will experience temperatures ranging from 25 to 33 degrees celsius. Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga with 24 to 34 degrees and Iloilo with 26 to 33 degrees.

Meanwhile, the country’s waters will have slight to moderate waves only.
