2 curfew violators yield P100k shabu in Lucena

LUCENA CITY –– Two curfew violators accosted by village watchmen yielded over P100,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in this city early on Friday, April 30.

Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, reported that the watchmen apprehended John Carmelo Valles and his partner, Rhean Vender, for violating the curfew in Barangay Cotta at 3:25 a.m.

Village authorities reportedly found on the violators four sachets of shabu weighing 5.3 grams worth P108,120 on the street market.

The village watchmen turned over the suspects, who were found to be former drug convicts, to the local police.
