MANILA, Philippines — The entire country will have fair weather this Friday as the easterlies continue to be the dominant weather system affecting the Philippines.
But weather specialist Shelly Ignacio said isolated rains may still be expected in some areas due to localized thunderstorms. Although she added that no low-pressure area or any weather system will cause heavy rains in the next two to three days.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) nevertheless warned of possible flash floods or landslides in case of severe thunderstorms.
Pagasa likewise noted that the whole country will have light to moderate east to northeast winds and slight to moderate (0.6 to 2.1 meters) coastal waters.
