PH to continue to feel the heat of easterlies – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies from the Pacific will keep the country warm and humid, with isolated rain showers likely to move in by the afternoon and night.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday afternoon that scattered rain showers might come from localized thunderstorms due to the high moisture content in the easterlies.
No low-pressure systems or storms that could affect the Philippines have been observed as of now.
For Thursday, Luzon would have a fair weather condition as temperatures in Laoag and Metro Manila range from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius, Tuguegarao with 25 to 35 degrees, Tagaytay with 22 to 31 degrees, Legazpi with 24 to 32 degrees, and Puerto Princesa with 25 to 32 degrees.
Visayas and Mindanao will also experience hot and humid weather, though rains may fall in some areas. Cebu, Tacloban, and Davao would experience temperatures ranging from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius, while Iloilo would experience temperatures ranging from 26 to 33 degrees, Cagayan de Oro would experience temperatures ranging from 24 to 33 degrees, and Zamboanga would experience temperatures ranging from 25 to 34 degrees.
Pagasa has raised no gale warning warned that the whole western, northern, and eastern coasts of Luzon, plus eastern waters of Visayas and Mindanao, would have a moderate condition. The rest of the country’s territorial and inland seas would be slight to moderate.
