Over 1.8M COVID-19 vaccine doses administered so far in PH

MANILA, Philippines — The country has so far administered over 1.8 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine, government data showed on Wednesday.

Data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed that as of April 27, a total of 1,809,801 doses, composed of 1,562,815 doses as first jab and 246,986 as second, have been administered to priority sectors.

Meanwhile, the seven-day average of vaccinated individuals per day is 35,320.

The country has so far received a total of 3,525,600 COVID-19 vaccine doses. Of this number, 3,025,600 or 86 percent have been distributed to 3,415 vaccination sites.

The country has so far reported a total of 1,020,495 COVID-19 cases, composed of 67,769 active cases, 935,695 recoveries, and 17,031 deaths.
