SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Four workers inside the Subic Bay Freeport were among the 11 new COVID-19 cases in Olongapo City on Tuesday, April 27.
Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said two of the patients are a couple from Barangay New Cabalan who work in private companies inside the free port.
Paulino said the male patient suffered from a respiratory ailment.
The other patients are 52-year-old and 46-year-old government employees. They both experienced symptoms of the disease.
The city had recorded 1,432 COVID-19 cases since last year, with 156 of them active.
Over 1,200 of them had recovered from the disease, while 63 had died.
