Cop dies in tricycle crash in Laguna

LUCENA CITY –– A policeman died after his tricycle crashed into a dump truck in Mabitac town in Laguna province on April 27.

Patrolman Bhavic Flora, a member of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force, was driving a tricycle without a plate number when he lost control of the vehicle at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The tricycle bumped the left front side of an oncoming dump truck driven by Eldie Gonzalez in Barangay Amuyong at 9:20 p.m., the regional police reported Wednesday.

Flora died on the spot, the report said.
