Magis Eagles rebound in ThreeSixty Cup

THE Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles bounced back from their loss to the University of San Carlos-South and vented their ire on the Don Bosco Greywolves, which they walloped to the tune of 57-34, in the 16-under class A division of the 2012 ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup last Sunday over at the Don Bosco basketball courts in Brgy. Labangon.

The Magis Eagles got beat by USC-South, 28-31, in the battle for solo leadership in their group in their match last Saturday. However, they found their bearings and collected the easy win to claim the second spot in the standings with their 2-1 record, behind the undefeated USC South.

In the 16-under division B, host Don Bosco B got past the USC South B, 43-37, while in the 13-under division B action, St. Paul got the better of Don Bosco B, 23-14.

The ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup is the biggest age group program for youth basketball, featuring 38 teams in three age groups. This is the main tournament that marks the fifth season of the Cebu Youth Basketball League (CYBL). /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
