3 drug suspects dead in Cavite, Rizal buy-busts

LUCENA CITY –– Three drug suspects were killed in separate buy-bust operations that ended in gunfights in Cavite and Rizal provinces on Tuesday and Wednesday, police reports said.

Authorities recovered from the suspects 15 kilos of suspected shabu, two caliber .9mm pistols, and a car.

The Police Regional Office 4-A (PRO-4A) in Camp Vicente Lim reported on April 28 that an alias “Alvin” and another unidentified male, both suspected drug pushers, resisted arrest and engaged the police in a firefight during the buy-bust operation at 11:55 p.m. on April 27 in Taytay, Rizal.

A caliber .38 gun and a plastic sachet of shabu weighing 25 grams were recovered from the slain suspect.
