MANILA, Philippines — More than 26,000 local and overseas job opportunities will be offered by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in online job fairs to be conducted starting Labor Day.
Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said Tuesday that the job fairs that will start on May 1 offers local and overseas vacancies from 567 employers from industries such as manufacturing, business process outsourcing, health services, retail, and construction.
He added that over 23,000 local vacancies, mostly for production operators, factory workers, customer service representatives, nurses, cashiers, baggers, mason, and carpenters, will be offered by 522 employers.
Meanwhile, over 3,000 overseas jobs will be offered by 45 participating employers. The vacancies are mostly for nurses, factory workers, mechanics, nursing aides or healthcare assistants, and cleaners.

According to DOLE, the online job fairs will be conducted in collaboration with JobStreet, JobQuest, Workbank, Vantagehunt, Mynimo, Hotjobs, Zoom, and the network of Public Employment Service Offices across the country.
