Ospital ng Makati 2 to be upgraded to a 360-bed hospital
MANILA, Philippines — The Ospital ng Makati (OsMak) 2 will soon be upgraded into a 360-bed hospital after the Makati City local government signed Tuesday an agreement to redevelop, complete, and operate the unfinished hospital.
In a statement, the local government said Mayor Abby Binay signed a joint venture agreement with Life Nurture, Inc. (LNI) to construct OsMak 2 in the city’s central business district.
LNI president Dr. Dennis Sta. Ana said they will construct two additional floors to the existing OsMak 2 structure to increase the hospital’s capacity to 360 beds from the original plan of 300 beds.
Sta. Ana said LNI will also build more than 190 doctor clinics.
“Amid the challenges we continue to face, we sincerely believe that the best COVID response is efficient healthcare for Makatizens,” Binay said, as quoted in the statement.
“It is our duty to provide each one with the best service, care, attention, and medical facilities that our taxpayers’ money can buy,” she added.
