MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather with possible isolated rain showers are expected due to the northeasterly surface windflow, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the northeasterly surface window and localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its weather bulletin.
“Magiging maaliwalas ang ating buong Luzon maliban nga lang sa posibilidad ng pagkakaroon ng pulo pulong mga pag-ulan,” Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendoza said.
(Luzon will have fair weather except for the possibility of isolated rains.)
Mendoza said the rain showers can be expected in the afternoon and evening.
Pagasa warned of possible flash floods or landslides in rain-affected areas.
The temperature in Metro Manila could reach up to 32 degrees Celsius and slightly higher in Tuguegarao City and Laoag City at 33 degrees Celsius.
