PDEA nabs 2 drug suspects, seizes P3.4M ‘shabu’ in Angeles City

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO –– Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two suspected drug traders and seized P3.4 million worth of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from them on Wednesday, April 21.

The buy-bust operation in Barangay Ninoy Aquino in Angeles City, north of this Pampanga capital, apprehended Yasser Ibrahin and John Lagman, PDEA Central Luzon director Christian Frivaldo said in a report.

The shabu weighed about 500 grams, he said.

The two suspects, who are in their early ’30s, are among the major suppliers of shabu in Angeles City, Frivaldo said.

Held in PDEA regional jail here, the two men face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
