DOJ logs 22 active COVID-19 cases

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Justice (DOJ) has so far recorded 85 COVID-19 infections among its personnel with 22 active cases as of April 19, based on data released by Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar.

The data showed that 18 COVID-19 cases were recorded last year and 67, so far in 2021.

Of the 67 reported cases this year, the DOJ said two have died, while 43 others have recovered.

 Meanwhile, the country’s total confirmed cases of COVID-19 sits at 953,106, with recoveries now at 809,959, active cases at 127,006 and the death toll at 16,141.
