Police nab drug suspect in San Pablo City

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested an alleged drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in San Pablo City in Laguna province on Monday.

Colonel Serafin Petalio II, Laguna police chief, said in a report that they arrested 29-year-old John Mark Yoyongco after he sold shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent in a drug deal in Barangay Sto. Cristo around 7 p.m.

Authorities seized six sachets of shabu weighing 13.96 grams worth about P96,000 (Dangerous Drugs Board value) and a digital weighing scale.

The suspect is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
