Gov’t workers among 22 new COVID-19 cases in Olongapo City

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales- Twenty-two more people were infected with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Olongapo City, bringing the total reported cases in the city to 1, 282 as of Friday, April 16.

Citing health data, Olongapo Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said six of those patients are government workers.

Other new cases are family members exposed to their virus-afflicted relatives. Intensive contact tracing discovered their infections.

Olongapo has been getting double-digit COVID-19 cases almost daily since last week.
