P1.73 M shabu seized, 5 arrested in Sorsogon City buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY – Police seized an estimated P1.73 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) and arrested five suspects following a buy-bust operation in Sorsogon City Tuesday morning, police said in a belated report Wednesday. Police Colonel Arturo Brual Jr., Sorsogon police chief, identified the suspects as Ilann Ralph Geraldino, Armando Beltran, Danvir Miraflores, Elwood Lacsa and Dan Joseph Lacuesta. They were arrested in Barangay Bibincahan, East District at around 11:40 a.m. Brual said Geraldino are in the illegal drugs watch list of the province. The suspects will face a formal complaint for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act No. 9165.
