Operations of one of Metro Manila’s elevated railways will be suspended on two weekends for maintenance work, the Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC) announced on Tuesday. The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT 1) will be closed on April 17 to 18 and April 24 to 25, LRMC said, to complete the annual maintenance work scheduled during the Holy Week, such as the replacement of overhead catenary wires.
