2 Panglao villages to be on lockdown in bid to control COVID-19

TAGBILARAN CITY—At least two villages in the resort town of Panglao, Bohol province would be on lockdown for two days to keep COVID-19 cases in control.

An advisory from the mayor’s office on Thursday (April 8) said the village of Bilisan would be on lockdown starting 12:01 a.m. on April 13 until 11:59 p.m. on April 15.

The village of Libaong would be on lockdown starting 12 midnight of April 18 until 11:59 p.m. on April 20.

All residents of the two villages would not be allowed to leave their homes during the lockdown.

As of April 8, the province has 1,584 COVID-19 cases, including 1,405 recoveries, 29 deaths and 150 still active.
