Pagasa sees fair weather in Luzon on April 7 due to northeasterly winds
MANILA, Philippines — Luzon may expect fair weather conditions on Wednesday as the northeasterly winds continue to prevail in the region.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said this on Tuesday afternoon, as it predicts a similar situation in Metro Manila for tomorrow, April 7.
Pagasa’s weather report, however, also said that a chance for some scattered rainshowers over the eastern side of the island – still as part of the effects of the northeasterly wind flow – may occur, as well as in Visayas and Mindanao due to localized thunderstorms.
Because of the northeasterly winds, Luzon climate may be a bit gentle on Wednesday, according to Pagasa, with Metro Manila likely feeling it between 24 and 34 degrees Celsius, Tuguegarao at 23 to 33 degrees Celsius, Laoag at 24 to 32 degrees Celsius, and Legazpi and Puerto Princesa at 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
Usual cold areas like Tagaytay City and Baguio City will have lower temperatures on Wednesday, too, at 20 to 29 degrees Celsius and 15 to 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.

No gale warning has been raised for now but Pagasa warned fisherfolk that sea conditions around Luzon’s waters may be moderate to rough, still because of the northeasterly wind flow.
Waters east of Mindoro and Palawan will also be moderate while the rest of the country’s seas will have slight to moderate conditions.
