Warm Tuesday weather in Luzon, Visayas – Pagasa

Northeasterly windflow affecting most parts of the country

MANILA, Philippines — Warm weather is expected in most parts of the country on Tuesday as the northeasterly windflow continues to affect Luzon and Visayas, according to the state weather bureau.

In its early morning weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Luzon, including Metro Manila and the Ilocos region will have fair weather with a chance of isolated light rains.

In the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Aurora, Pagasa forecasts cloudy skies with isolated light rain showers due to the northeasterly windflow.

Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendoza said no weather disturbance is expected to affect the country in the next two to three days

The state weather bureau did not raise any gale warning on Monday.

Pagasa said that Luzon will have moderate to strong northeast winds and moderate to rough (1.2 to 3.1 meters) coastal waters.

Visayas will have light to moderate northeast winds while Mindanao will have light to moderate east to northeast winds.

Both Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate (0.6 to 2.5 meters) coastal water, according to Pagasa.
