Woman gives birth to baby in ambulance in Southern Leyte

ORMOC CITY –– A woman delivered a baby girl in an ambulance in Barangay San Joaquin, Macrohon town in Southern Leyte Friday.

Fire Officer 2 Lester Montederamos identified the mother as Razel Cierro, 26.

Montederamos said the local fire bureau received a request to transport the mother to a hospital that night.

While on their way to the Salvacion Oppus Yñigues Memorial Provincial Hospital, the mother gave birth to a baby girl.
