9 casino employees in Bacolod test positive for COVID-19
BACOLOD CITY –– Nine employees of Casino Filipino Bacolod in this city have tested positive for COVID-19.
City Administrator Em Ang said the casino was closed on Saturday as the Bacolod Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office personnel disinfected the facilities.
All the casino employees have been tested, and those found positive for COVID-19 had been quarantined.
The casino was reopened on Monday.
Andrea Domingo, chairperson of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp, had ordered the testing of casino personnel around the country.
Dr. Edwin Miraflor, City Health Officer, said 341 Bacolod casino employees underwent swab tests from March 29 to April 1. Nine were found positive.
