MANILA, Philippines — The entire country will experience fair weather on Monday but isolated rain showers are expected in Luzon and Visayas, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
(The northeasterly windflow is still affecting the weather in Luzon and Visayas so a large portion of the country will experience fair weather with isolated rain showers.)
(In Mindanao, fair, hot and humid weather will prevail. In the afternoon and evening, isolated thunderstorms may occur.)
Meanwhile, the low pressure area (LPA) being monitored by Pagasa was last spotted 1,260 kilometers east-northeast of Basco, Batanes.
Mendoza said the LPA has a minimal chance of developing into a tropical depression and currently does not have a direct impact in the country’s weather.
