DAGUPAN CITY –– The Hundred Islands National Park in Alaminos City will be open to tourists and local visitors from April 1-4 except for those coming from areas on enhanced community quarantine.

City Tourism Officer Miguel Sison said, however, that they would strictly enforce health protocols. Visitors would be limited to only 1,500 a day.

Swimming and all other activities, such as diving and zipline adventures are also allowed on the islands, he said.

This city government, which requires minimum medical papers, said it could manage people entering the islands.

It has designated the tourism office and the Lucap and Bued mangrove parks as the only authorized entry points to the islands.

Only valid identification (ID) cards are required from those coming from areas on modified general community quarantine.

Those from general community quarantine areas will also be required to present IDs and negative RT-PCR tests taken within 72 hours.
