Duterte places Quirino province, Santiago City in Isabela under MECQ starting April 1
MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has placed Quirino province and Santiago City in Isabela under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
In a pre-recorded briefing televised on Monday night, Duterte said the MECQ would last from April 1 to 15 in Quirino province and April 1 to 30 in Santiago City.
Meanwhile, the areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) the entire Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Batangas, Tacloban City, Iligan City, Davao City, and Lanao Del Sur.
The rest of the country will be under the most lenient modified MGCQ.
