Negros Occidental gov, 16 others test negative for COVID-19

BACOLOD CITY –– Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson and 16 others have tested negative for coronavirus disease, (COVID-19).

Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said the offices of the governor, provincial administrator, Provincial Incident Management Team (PIMT), and Provincial Disaster Management Division Program (PDMDP) that were temporarily closed last Friday resumed operations Monday.

The partial lockdown at the Capitol was enforced after Zeaphard Caelian, PIMT and PDMDP head, and three of his staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

The other employees who tested negative for the virus were Provincial Health Officer Ernell Tumimbang, Dr. Jessica Fama, Mary June Castro, Richelle Lagansoa, Jesstah Chris Alcala, Kris Jane Saguran, Katherine Orola-Reyes, Rosielyn Aguilar, Mario Pequit Pequit, Lucienne Trimpe, Andy Jarlata, Airene Ruiz, Merile Lim, and Irene Bel Ploteña.
