PNP puts up more quarantine facilities in Crame
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has opened up more spaces at its headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City, as temporary quarantines, amid the surge of police officers who are infected with COVID-19.
The entire compound of Kiangan has been reconfigured to accommodate more patients beyond its original 55-bed capacity.
The PNP said it converted the pavilion and other areas in the Kiangan compound to accommodate 177 more beds for COVID-19 patients.
As of March 26, the PNP recorded 14,110 cases, of which 1,951 are active cases, while 36 had died.
