MANILA, Philippines — A total of 1,921 out of 3,251 examinees hurdled the medical technologist licensure exam administered this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday morning.
Felix Jayson Magleo Vegella from the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in Pangasinan emerged as board topnotcher with a rating of 91 percent.
Vegella was followed by Rocelle Anne Ramos Leonardo of Far Eastern University-Manila and Clarice Anne Castroverde Medrano of Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila with identical ratings of 88.30 percent, Bernard Garcia Oledan Jr. of Centro Escolar University-Makati (87.70 percent) and Ryal Anthony Caliboso Lauron from the University of Baguio and Julius Ryan Riola Salmos from Saint Louis University (87.60 percent).
The five other examinees in the top 10 are Francis Jacob Carpio Paras from the University of Sto. Tomas (87.50 percent), Noiemy Joyra Guintu Serrano from Angeles University Foundation (87.30 percent), Macrhowen Vincent Mondelo Kibir from Velez College (87.20 percent), Darlene Gail Villafuerte Cu from Velez College (87 percent) and Kristan Jimenez Dela Cruz from Nueva Ecija Doctor’s Hospital (87 percent).
“Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals,” the PRC said.
“Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician,” it added.
