MRT3 resumes normal operations–spokesman

MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit system, which temporarily implemented half-line operations due to track problems at its Guadalupe Station earlier on Monday, is now fully operational, a spokesman said.

Lawyer Hernando Cabrera said MRT3 resumed normal operations at 8:55 a.m. following completion of repairs and safety inspection.

Half-line operations were implemented from North Avenue to Shaw Boulevard and back at about 6:30 a.m., Cabrera said.
