‘Galing’ bike run set in Bulacan

The Galing Pilipino Movement (GPM), a nongovernment organization that aims to bring out the best in Filipinos, will hold its ninth anniversary bike run today from San Miguel to Baliuag in Bulacan.

Student leaders and young professionals are to take part in the morning event, which is intended to harness the potentials of young Filipino leaders through training in various skills, including sports.

The GPM members of Baliuag University said the event would enhance their leadership skills and instill in the youth the heroic spirit of Filipinos who had made sacrifices for the future of the country.

“The Galing Pilipino 9th anniversary event will be a remarkable success and should bring forth more leaders for the Philippines in the years ahead through the help of the youth,” they said.

The organization’s other programs and advocacies include natural farming seminars, the Bisita Pilipinas Program, and the Pamaskong Galing Pilipino.
