Comelec cuts period of voter registration

/ 05:01 AM March 22, 2021

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has shortened its schedule for voter registration in the next two weeks due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, especially in Metro Manila. From March 22 to April 4, all Comelec offices will accept voter registration applications from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Mondays to Thursdays. The offices will undergo disinfection every Friday. The offices will also be closed on days the local government has prescribed as disinfection day. Registration will end in September as scheduled.
