THE ATHLETES for Christ in Excellent Service (Aces) and the Bible Baptist Church continue to run roughshod over the rest of the field as they each won their third straight game in the ongoing 2012 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Basketball League at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts.
In the 34-below class, the Aces of head coach Al Solis defeated the Randy dela Pisa-led Bradford UCCP, 66-55, while BBC beat the Bradford UCCI by the skin of their teeth, 56-55. Each now tote a perfect record of 3-0 (win-loss).
In other games in the same class, the Praise Cathedral Nets notched their first win in three outings after they blasted the Blessed Hope 1, 60-44, even as the Word International Ministries trounced the Blessed Hope 2, 55-50. WIM and the PC Nets each hold similar 1-2 records.
In the 35-above division, the Living Word Christian Church remained undefeated after they got past the Couples Ministry of the Living Word, 65-62. The Christian Workers Basketball Association also won over the Cebu Bethel Temple, 52-44./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
