SCSIT tops 2nd Sinulog softball tilt

THE SALAZAR Colleges of Science Institute of Technology (SCSIT) dominated the 2nd Sinulog Softball and Baseball Tournament last Sunday after routing Wired Nook, 7-3, in the championship round at the Labangon Elementary School grounds.

SCSIT’s Rolly Bacarisas, Sherwin Tabar and Marvin Ngujo scored the team’s first runs in the first inning.

In the second inning, Liloan answered with runs from Jade Tuba and Dexter Empasis.

SCSIT’s Ngujo, Jack Hinulaga and John Magno stretched the team’s lead to 6-3 before Ngujo added another run in the fourth inning against Alvin Paez’ lone score for Wired Nook.

FEATURED STORIES

In the road to the finals, SCSIT defeated first Buhisan,10-0, in the semifinal round. Wired Nook, on the other hand,  nipped Lilo-an, 9-6, courtesy of Dexter and Ian Impases.
