Occidental Mindoro logs 12 new COVID-19 cases

CITY OF CALAPAN – Twelve new COVID-19 cases were reported in Occidental Mindoro on Saturday.

Provincial health authorities said the 12 cases were all recorded in Mamburao. Among those infected were two children aged 5 and 8, and an 80-year-old man.

In its 10 p.m. report on Saturday, the Provincial Health Office, also reported three recoveries – a 70-year-old woman from Sablayan town; 64-year-old woman and 46-year-old man, both from Mamburao.

Since the pandemic broke out last year, the province has logged 347 COVID-19 cases (58 active), including 228 recoveries and 12 deaths.
